How can I activate a Chain?

You can check the number and types of chains, attack types, and unit elements by tapping the Map button displayed at the bottom left of the Quest screen, then tapping the unit.
For example, when activating an Earth-type Elemental Chain:

You can activate a Chain by attacking the same enemy unit in succession. With each attack, the Chain intensifies, and the amount of damage you deal increases.
*You can chain attacks on the same unit from the second attack onward.
*You can also chain attacks using Combo Attack Abilities.

There are two types of Chains, both of which can be activated simultaneously.

• Attack Chains
Activated with the same types of attacks. The chain ends when it becomes the enemy's turn or a type of attack that doesn't correspond with the chain is used.

• Elemental Chains
Activated when attacking with abilities of the same element. The chain ends when it becomes the enemy's turn, or when a regular attack or type of attack that doesn't correspond with the chain is used.

*Consecutive magic attacks do not form Attack Chains. Elemental Chains can be formed with magic attacks.
