How does the Friend Gift feature work?

You can send your friends gifts daily by accessing the Friend menu and tapping on Gifts.
Claim gifts you've received and send gifts to your friends. You can change your desired gift by tapping on Gift Settings and selecting what you'd like to receive.
You may only send gifts once a day. This feature resets at 12:00 a.m. (PST).
Items and gil you send do not disappear from your own inventory.
*Unclaimed gifts will expire after seven days.
*You can send gifts to newly added friends starting at 12:00 a.m. (PST) the day after you have befriended them.
